 Mother's Day, Lifetime Television premieres the documentary I AM MY MOTHER'S
 DAUGHTER and INTIMATE PORTRAIT: TV MOMS as part of a special Mother's Day
 programming line-up during the week of May 7-11.
     Profiling four real-life mother-daughter pairs along with celebrities Amy
 Brenneman, Queen Latifah, Joanna Kerns, WNBA star Rebecca Lobo, Congresswoman
 Lynn Woolsey and their mothers or daughters, the documentary I AM MY MOTHER'S
 DAUGHTER examines the unique bond between mothers and daughters and the
 profound impact this relationship has on a woman's self-image.  From a mother
 who is learning to let go of her 24-year-old daughter with Cerebral Palsy to a
 mother/daughter pair who have been introduced for the first time since the
 mother gave the daughter up for adoption, the one-hour special takes an
 in-depth look at the dynamics of love, respect and growth that abound in each
 of the special relationships.  A new film by Suzie Galler, who also produced I
 AM BEAUTIFUL for Lifetime, I AM MY MOTHER'S DAUGHTER makes its television
 premiere on Friday, May 11, 7-8PM ET/PT.
     A special screening of the documentary will be held at the Esteemed Woman
 Foundation Gala Fundraiser in New York City, on May 9.  Emmy award-winning
 journalist and daily host of Lifetime Television's "Intimate Portrait" series,
 Meredith Vieira, will host the event.  The not-for-profit Esteemed Woman
 Foundation, founded by Suzie Galler, serves to empower women and girls of all
 ages and background.
