Local Journalists Tackle Media Issues At Community College of Philadelphia

    PHILADELPHIA, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Internet, sports coverage,
 entertainment, and print and broadcast media are among the topics that local
 journalists from top media organizations will discuss tomorrow, Thursday,
 April 12, at Community College of Philadelphia.  The panel discussion, which
 begins at 11:00 a.m., will be held at the College's Main Campus, 1700 Spring
 Garden Street, in the Bonnell Building's Large Auditorium, (BG-10).
     The panel is part of the Communication Arts Curriculum's Magner/Nichols
 Herbert Awards Program.  Panelists include Daily News sports columnist John
 Smallwood; The Philadelphia Inquirer's television columnist Jonathan Storm;
 The Philadelphia Inquirer's computer columnist John Fried; Daily News
 journalist Leon Taylor; Daily News media and entertainment columnist Regina
 Medina; Intelihealth on-line editor Dave Warner, and Daily News Internet
 columnist Ed Weiner.
