LogistiCare Adds Eric Karl as Chief Financial Officer

COLLEGE PARK, Ga., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- LogistiCare, a national transportation management company, today announced that Eric A. Karl has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer. Karl will be responsible for LogistiCare's corporate finance, accounting and investor relations. He will also help develop additional business lines for the company. Karl brings more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and operations, primarily with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining LogistiCare, Karl was Chief Financial Officer of Biomedical Disposal, Inc. in Atlanta, where he completed a $4 million fund raising round, drove the development of its e-commerce business and led its successful government affairs operation. Karl previously served as director of corporate business development for The Perkin-Elmer Corporation in Connecticut, and director of investment and affiliates for the Sumitomo Corporation in New York. He also held a variety of finance, marketing, credit, and lobbying positions with General Electric and GE Capital in the U.S. and Holland over a ten-year period. Karl holds a Masters degree in industrial relations from the University of Warwick, England, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
