LOMA Launches SelectExpress™

New Mobile Assessment Tool Streamlines Hiring Process

ATLANTA, Aug. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LOMA announced the launch of its newest assessment product, SelectExpress, developed to be administered on a mobile device and to shorten the assessment process for entry-level job candidates.

SelectExpress allows recruiters, hiring managers and human resources managers to pre-screen candidates on their cognitive and soft skills, generally in less than 30 minutes.  With communication and collaboration skills becoming increasingly important at every job level, this tool can be useful for positions across an organization.

According to a 2013 Bersin by Deloitte study* of HR professionals who use software programs for recruiting and hiring, nearly one-third indicate that they were most interested in a mobile app to support recruiting and applications of potential job candidates.

The release of SelectExpress follows the recent introduction of SelectWrite™, another new assessment tool that evaluates a job candidate's ability to communicate effectively in writing. SelectWrite is different from other writing tests in that the scoring is completely automated, offering immediate reporting of results while eliminating the time, effort, and expense of training in-house graders, as well as subjectivity in scoring the applicants' responses.
