Luxe Launches Drive Home Service In Los Angeles Neighborhoods

Designated Driver Option Now Available in NEW LA Areas

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The leading on-demand valet service app Luxe today announces that Drive Home, the newest service option available, will officially launch in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 6 and will be available in Hollywood Thursday - Saturday nights from 5p.m. - 2a.m. and throughout Downtown from 5p.m. - 1a.m. (closing at 12a.m. on Thursdays). This groundbreaking program offers customers a valet to drive them home safely in their own cars after an evening out.  Drive Home began piloting in San Francisco in June and has since expanded to Chicago and Seattle.

The service is one of the first of its kind and will be fully covered under the company's $5M insurance policy for valets, drivers and cars. Luxe is also proud to announce that Drive Home is being launched in partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD), where $1 from every ride will be donated to the cause.

Users can choose the Drive Home option via the app's additional services menu at a cost of $25 with an additional $3 per mile (40 mile cap), and must do so up to one hour before closing. Once requested, the Customer Delight team will contact the user for the destination and return time. A valet will pick up the driver in their own vehicle and drive them safely back to their chosen destination before parking their car in the driveway and handing them their keys. Drive Home will soon launch in all of Luxe's Los Angeles service areas.

Luxe provides daily service throughout Downtown, Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood and West LA, which includes the Brentwood and Sawtelle neighborhoods.  Luxe services several LA hotspots like the Hollywood Bowl, the Santa Monica Farmers Market, the Santa Monica Pier, Highland, the Staples Center and more. Hours for each area vary and can be found on the Luxe website. Luxe will be launching in three additional cities by September 2015 - Austin, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. - making Luxe available in nine cities across the U.S.
