    INDIANAPOLIS, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Made2Manage Systems Inc.
(Nasdaq: MTMS), a leading provider of enterprise business systems for small
and midsize manufacturers, today announced the release of a new feature for
Made2Manage 4.0 SQL. Sales Order Quick Order Entry is a new tool that will
allow customers to quickly and efficiently enter sales orders into their
business system with a minimum number of keystrokes or mouse clicks. This new
addition will allow large batches of sales orders to be entered into the
system quickly and efficiently -- thus saving time and increasing
 efficiencies.

"This is an exciting offering for our customers," said Abby Wood, ERP
product manager, "It gives the user the choice of how detailed they want to be
in their original sales order entry. We believe that this new addition will
increase efficiencies and improve the sales order process."
The Sales Order Quick Order Entry feature will require the user to enter
only a minimum number of fields: customer, payment time, item and quantity.
The system will then create a full sales order based on pre-existing customer
data and stored system information. At the time of the initial entry the
sales clerk can even quickly link to an inventory screen to determine if there
is enough material in stock to satisfy the customer demand immediately.
"This feature was originally suggested by one of our existing customers,"
said Wood. "They suggested that having a simple, easy-to-use screen would
reduce the amount of time it would take to process a customer sales order --
allowing for more staff productivity. We loved the idea and expanded upon
it." Once a sales order is created via the Quick Order Entry screen it is
possible for designated staff to review, edit and release that order to the
floor. It's a fast simple way to do business.
