The new convention center will include more than 1 million square-feet of
exhibit space suitable for industry trade shows, national and international
association meetings and large corporate meetings.

Also included in the new facility:
-- A 100-thousand square-foot pillarless MegaBallroom, which will be the
largest hotel ballroom in the nation.
-- A 50-thousand square-foot Junior Ballroom, which will exceed the size
of Mandalay Bay's three existing ballrooms.
-- 100-thousand square-feet of breakout meeting space, which can be
divided to accommodate up to 61 separate meetings.

"In just two years, Mandalay Bay has proven itself as a first-class
business destination, hosting some of the worlds premiere companies and
associations," said Mr. Glenn Schaeffer, President of Mandalay Resort Group
(NYSE: MBG), Mandalay Bay's parent corporation. "By elevating our own level
of play, we will be able to offer our services to an even larger base of
clients, including industry trade shows and national and international
associations that require the exhibit space this new facility will offer."
The state-of-the-art facility will sit on 16.5 acres adjacent to the
existing 190,000 square-foot Mandalay Bay Conference Center. The
technologically modern facility will feature some of the newest developments
in voice, data and fiber optic transmission capabilities. Also included is a
10-thousand square-foot business service center, which will be staffed and
equipped to handle the daily business needs of conference participants and
 conventioneers.
The new center is also designed for ease in the load-in and load-out of
major trade shows. Three separate tractor-trailer loading docks on two
different levels can accommodate 36 trailers simultaneously.
Danielle Babilino, Mandalay Bay Vice President of Hotel Sales, added,
"Perhaps the most appealing aspect of this new project is our ability to offer
a large number of nearby guest rooms at a variety of price points. By working
in partnership with our sister properties we are able to offer clients a
tiered schedule of room rates at Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, Luxor and
Excalibur, all of which are within easy walking distance of the new Convention
 Center."
Convention and meeting planners utilizing facilities at the Mandalay Bay
Convention Center will have the flexibility of booking rooms at any Mandalay
Resort Group hotel, selecting from a variety of price points, levels of
service and accommodations they offer and then writing those rooms into one
 contract.
Upon completion of the project, Mandalay Bay will offer a total of almost
2 million gross square-feet of conference and exhibit space, including 4
ballrooms ranging from 31,000 to 100,000 square feet, 1 million square feet of
exhibit space and room to accommodate more than 75 simultaneous breakout
 meetings.

2001, with the facility's first show in Summer 2002. For information
regarding space reservations, contact Mandalay Bay Convention Sales at
 (702) 632-7900.
Project is subject to receipt of necessary permits and approvals.
