 Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (NYSE:   MSO) announced today that Marcia
 E. Miller has been appointed to Publisher, Martha Stewart Weddings, effective
 immediately.
     Ms. Miller, who joined MSO in 1994, was previously the Associate Publisher
 for Martha Stewart Weddings.  Prior to joining MSO, from 1994 to 1995, Ms.
 Miller served as the President and Publisher for Black Book Marketing Group,
 Inc.  From 1986 to 1990, Ms. Miller was the publisher of House Beautiful
 magazine and from 1985 to 1986, the Associate Publisher and Advertising
 Director of Town & Country magazine. Ms. Miller began her career in publishing
 in 1975 as the Fashion Advertising Manager for "W" magazine, which she helped
 to establish, and went on to hold various other positions for the publication,
 including Vice President and Associate Publisher from 1983 to 1985.
