MAXRAD Delivers New In-Building Voice and Data Antenna Solutions

    CHICAGO, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MAXRAD has introduced two new series of
 voice and data antennas designed to address various indoor application
 requirements.  The MC ceiling mount antenna series comprises five basic models
 designed for in-building cellular, PCS, iDEN and data coverage.  Models MC806
 (806-866), MC824 (824-896), and MC890 (890-960) specifically cover 800 MHz
 conventional, SMR and cellular frequencies. The MC1900 covers PCS frequencies
 from 1850 to 1990 MHz and model MC2400 covers ISM frequencies from 2300-2500
 MHz.  These vertically polarized antennas provide 2.5 dBi gain and exceptional
 coverage with minimum loss and no tuning required.  Their neutral off-white
 radome can be painted with non-metallic paint to complement their surroundings
 and a single hole stud mount with a 12 inch pigtail makes installation simple.
 The pigtail can be fitted with virtually any type of connector.
     MAXRAD also introduced the new MHA2400 bi-directional indoor antenna.
 This vertically polarized indoor antenna is designed to provide extended WLAN
 indoor coverage with minimum visibility.  It is the ideal indoor antenna
 solution for use in long corridors where maximum coverage is needed, but a
 discrete design is required.  The MHA2400 measures only 0.25 inch thick by
 2.6 inches wide by 1.8 inches tall and weighs 2 ounces.  Covering frequencies
 from 2300-2500 MHz with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1, this antenna provides
 85 degrees of horizontal beamwidth and 70 degrees of vertical beamwidth.
 Maximum power input is 10 Watts.
     The MHA2400 is housed in a durable, UV stable ASA/ABS plastic housing.  It
 includes a mounting bracket that snaps to a standard one-inch wide, suspended
 ceiling tile rail.  The antenna can also be mounted directly onto the flat
