MAXRAD MMDS Antennas for Trouble-Free Wireless Internet

    CHICAGO, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MAXRAD announces two new high performance
 MMDS antenna solutions for wireless Internet and other wireless access and
 data applications.  The two new antenna models are the first in a complete new
 series of MMDS antenna solutions designed to complement MAXRAD's existing
 portfolio of wireless data antenna solutions.
     The new MP25017PT directional panel covers frequencies from 2500 to 2700
 MHz and provides 17 dBi gain with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1.  Front to back
 ratio is greater than 25 dB with power handling of 100 Watts.  It provides
 3 dB vertical and horizontal beamwidths of 18 degrees.  The antenna can be
 mast or wall mounted and includes a 12-inch pigtail that can be fitted with
 virtually any type of connector.
     The MFB25007 fiberglass omnidirectional antenna provides outstanding
 coverage of MMDS frequencies from 2500 to 2700 MHz.  It provides 7 dBi gain, a
 VSWR of less than 1.5:1 and vertical beamwidth at 1/2 power of 13 degrees.
 The antenna is encased in pultruded UV-stable fiberglass radome of 5/8 inches
 in diameter that provides maximum durability and can withstand winds of up to
 125 mph.  The MFB25007 measures 20 inches tall and is available with a
 3-degree electrical downtilt option.
