 solutions, announced today that it will receive two 2001 Platinum Awards from
 AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine (AVVMMP) at the NAB2001 Multimedia World
 Conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 25.
     Maxtor's DiamondMax(R) 80 will receive the Readers' Choice Award in the
 Hard Disk Drive category.  The MaxAttach(R) NAS 4000 will receive an
 Outstanding Achievement Award in the Network-Attached Storage category.
     The awards will be presented by Sam Kintzer, the magazine's publisher, at
 the Maxtor tradeshow booth 3537 at the Sands Convention Center on April 25 at
 1:00 p.m. The conference runs from April 21 through April 26, with exhibits
 opening on April 23.
