    RICHMOND, Va., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Media General (Amex:   MEG.A) will
 webcast its first-quarter conference call live over the Internet at 2 p.m. EST
 on Wednesday, April 18.
     J. Stewart Bryan III, Media General's chairman and chief executive
 officer, will conduct the call along with Marshall N. Morton, the company's
 senior vice president and chief financial officer.

 "Live Earnings Conference" link.  A replay of the webcast will be available
 via the same link from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, until 5 p.m. on
