 Furthering its leadership position as the global software technology provider
 of interactive TV (iTV) portals and services, MetaTV today announced that it
 has received investments of $28 million.  Leading this round are two driving
 forces in the cable industry, Comcast Interactive Capital and Cox
 Communications, Inc.
 (NYSE:   COX). Atrium Venture Partners, L.P., Harron Capital,
 Liberate Technologies (Nasdaq:   LBRT), Redpoint Ventures, Rosewood Venture
 Group, and Saints Ventures LLC also made strategic investments.  This up round
 marks the second investment both Redpoint Ventures and Rosewood Venture Group
 have made in MetaTV.
     MetaTV is currently working with leading network operators, technology
 partners, and content providers to deploy content, commerce, and enhanced TV
 services to consumers through interactive television.  The company will
 utilize this investment to further the deployment efforts of its MetaTV
 Universal Portal(TM) Platform, build on its strategic sales initiatives, and
 to pursue broader international distribution opportunities.
