Metro Link to Provide Dedicated Hardware Support to Sigma Designs; Strategic Partnership focuses on Linux for MPEG-2 video

 Under a recently announced agreement, Metro Link, Inc. will provide customer
 integration services for set-top boxes utilizing Sigma Designs, Inc. new
 EM8400 MPEG decoder chips.  "Metro Link's extensive graphics and video
 experience will broaden our range of applications and help accelerate our
 customers' time-to-market for next generation Linux-based Internet Appliance

 LynuxWorks' LynxOS, QNX and other embedded operating systems, will also be
 developing drivers and a multimedia package for Sigma Designs MPEG-2/DVD

 chips and boards into their Metro-X(TM) product running on a variety of
 operating systems.
