Jose will continue to report directly to Metromile CEO Dan Preston.
Jose joined Metromile two years ago as Vice President of Engineering and has grown the engineering and technology teams to where they are today. He brings more than 14 years of experience designing and developing scalable and highly available software solutions.

After AisleBuyer's acquisition by Intuit, he served as development lead for the GoPayment mobile payments application. His earlier work included contributions to TIBCO Software's application virtualization and cloud computing platform as well as Novell's ZENworks systems management product suite.
