SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Metromile, a pioneer in pay-per-mile car insurance in the United States, announced that Joe Selsavage has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, effective today, Aug. 3.
Joe was most recently CFO for Hotwire, a leading discount travel site, where he led Hotwire's global finance and accounting. He brings more than 25 years of broad-range experience to Metromile and will oversee finance and accounting for the company. Joe will report to Metromile CEO Dan Preston.

Joe joined Hotwire right after its launch in 2001 and was instrumental in the design and implementation of almost every component of Hotwire's financial infrastructure. In addition to his Finance responsibilities, Joe was also responsible for overseeing various other functions at different times including Hotwire's Global Analytics Team, Global Hotel Supply Team and the Global Car Rental Team.
