Midway Airlines Announces It Will Become a Partner in both Continental Airlines OnePass(R) and Northwest Airlines WorldPerks(R) Frequent Flyer Programs

     Midway Airlines (Nasdaq: MDWY) today announced that it will become a
 partner in the Continental Airlines OnePass(R) and Northwest Airlines
 WorldPerks(R) frequent flyer programs, beginning May 1, 2001.  The
 partnerships will offer a variety of benefits for Midway passengers, including
 mileage earning opportunities on all Midway flights and a wide range of elite-
 level services and benefits.  In addition, the partnership will also offer
 opportunities for OnePass(R) and WorldPerks(R) members to earn and redeem
 miles for Midway Airlines travel.  Members may begin to accrue miles on Midway
 Airlines on May 1, 2001, and they may redeem miles beginning June 1, 2001.
     To accrue miles on Midway Airlines flights, passengers must be a
 OnePass(R) or WorldPerks(R) member or they must enroll in either program and
 provide their account number when booking a reservation or at time of check-
 in.  Travelers will be able to earn a domestic roundtrip coach class reward
 ticket for travel on Midway or enjoy award travel worldwide on Continental,
