MilePoint.com Adds Crandall, Magary, and Ueberroth to Board of Directors

    MINNEAPOLIS, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- MilePoint.com, the Minneapolis-based
 company that allows frequent travelers to convert their miles and points into
 an online currency that can be used for online purchases, has elected Robert
 Crandall, A.B. "Sky" Magary, and Joe Ueberroth to its board of directors.
     "We're very excited to be able to add an incredible amount of knowledge
 and experience with our three new board members," said company co-founder,
 Chairman and CEO Mark Lacek.  "Their counsel will be important as we continue
 to grow and expand."
     Robert Crandall is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of
 American Airlines and chairman of The SABRE Group.  As American's top
 marketing executive, and subsequently as the airline's president and chairman,
 Crandall participated in developing many of the innovations for which American
 is noted.  These include American's SABRE automation system; the AAdvantage
 program for frequent travelers; development of major hubs in Dallas/Fort
 Worth, Chicago, Miami and San Juan; and the creation of a wide-ranging
 international route system.  He was an early supporter of MilePoint.com's
 concept and joins the board from his position as chairman of MilePoint.com's
 board of advisers.  Crandall also serves on the boards of Halliburton Corp.
 and Media One.
     A.B. "Sky" Magary has extensive experience in the international travel
 industry, having held numerous senior management roles.  Magary was the first
 president of United Airlines "Shuttle by United." Prior to his role at United,
 Magary was executive vice president of marketing for Northwest Airlines and
 had held similar posts at Hyatt and Pan Am. Magary has been a Senior Advisor
 to MilePoint since its inception.
     Joe Ueberroth is a partner in Contrarian Group, Inc (CGI), a private
 investment/management firm. CGI is a major investor in the travel,
 hospitality, and retail industries.  A partial list of their involvements
 include the acquisition and development of DoubleTree Hotels, the early stage
 investment in GetThere.com, the acquisition and operation of Ambassadors
 International, the acquisition of SATO Travel, the acquisition of the Pebble
 Beach Company, and the management of Adidas USA.  Joe is also co-managing
 member of the CGI Opportunity Fund with Peter Ueberroth who is the managing
 director of the Contrarian Group and has held such positions as President of
 the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics Organizing Committee and Commissioner of Major
 League Baseball.  Joe currently serves on several corporate boards.
