The effort marks the end of a three year hiatus for Tyler as he enters the country music world with an abrupt yet strong list of hard-fought songs.  Blending the sonic qualities of rock, pop, and Americana, RUN features an infectious mixture of music that showcases Tyler's versatility as a hook craftsman, storyteller, and vocalist.

Upon exiting an exclusive songwriting agreement in the creative hotbed of Muscle Shoals, Tyler felt it was the perfect time to take a chance on an independent project.  While he sporadically performed pre-production over the course of 2012, RUN was ultimately rebuilt from the ground up at Zodlounge Studios (Nashville, TN).  Co-Producer Brett Vargason praises the song collection as "Cool country" married with a writing style that is "a breath of fresh air" in the current country music climate. Tyler adds that "this project was a chance for me to write from a place that was pure, and develop the exact sounds that I hear in my head from beginning to end".  The EP is slated for international release on iTunes and all other major digital retailers on October 21, 2013.

With an almost compulsive relationship with creating music, South Carolina's Todd Tyler has carved a unique spot in the music industry by experiencing it as a songwriter, performer, producer, and instrumentalist. On his latest project RUN, Tyler commands a spectral mix of songs that push the boundaries of modern country music. With Tyler at the helm as sole writer, RUN manages to invoke the contagiousness of pop while still satisfying country music's ears with emotional lyrics, inventive hooks, and well-crafted stories.
