COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Project Pinball Charity will be dedicating a pinball machine at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Monday, August 3, 2015. Project Pinball has paired with the Columbus Ohio Pinball Association (COPA) to place a pinball machine at Nationwide Children's Hospital through the generous offering of Level One Bar & Arcade and TNT Amusements.

"Level One Bar + Arcade is honored to sponsor the donation of the use of a family oriented pinball machine to the Nationwide Children's Hospital. Pinball is an exciting and enjoyable recreation for children and adults. They hope that the presence of this game will bring hours of fun and help brighten the day of children recovering from an illness or surgical procedure while visiting the hospital," says Therese Edwards of TNT Amusements. "TNT Amusements has been operating and servicing games in Columbus since 1988 and are happy to have the opportunity to maintain a pinball machine at the local children's hospital. We hope this game will provide a brief distraction from the ordeals of illness for both patients and their families."

Project Pinball Charity currently has 16 machines placed across the United States and were scheduled to dedicate this final machine today as part of a 9,000 mile trek across the nation in July, where 5 machines were placed into children's hospitals from Boston to San Francisco.  Updates continue on their Facebook Page, "Project Pinball Charity," where they have announced a sixth dedication to take place this week as well.

"We bring joy to children's lives through active play," says Daniel Spolar, Project Pinball Charity's founder and Senior Director, "allowing the smallest patients the opportunity to focus on something other than hospital life."

Project Pinball is thankful for their many supporters in the Colorado area, Stern Pinball, Inc. and Marco Specialties who have supported the charities efforts since the very beginning.

"We're thankful to be teaming up with Project Pinball Charity to share our love for pinball with patients who have faced medical challenges," said Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball. "Our goal is to provide patients with a fun, entertaining distraction and put a smile on their faces."

In the following year, TNT Amusements and Level One Bar + Arcade will be helping COPA (Columbus Ohio Pinball Association) and Project Pinball raise funds so a brand new pinball machine can be permanently placed at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Donations can be made at
