NORTHBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- National Grid continues to work around the clock to restore customers affected by the severe weekend storm that, at the peak, affected more than 421,000 customers in Massachusetts.  

As of 9 a.m. today, roughly 340,000, or about 80 percent, of those customers have been restored.
