National Scientific Corporation Files for a Patent On a New RF Receiver Architecture

 Scientific Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board:   NSCT) today announced that it has
 filed for a U.S. Patent for its radio frequency (RF) receivers with on-chip
 intermediate-frequency (IF) filters.
     Dr. Majid Hashemi, Group President and Chief Technology Officer, said,
 "The wireless industry is continuously striving to produce an optimized single
 chip RF transceiver.  Significant effort has been directed toward designing a
 simple integrated on-chip programmable IF filter.  The vast majority of
 on-chip filters require very sophisticated calibration circuitry that consumes
 a large silicon footprint and significant power.  National Scientific's
 innovative fully integrated receiver architecture eliminates the need for
 complicated on-chip calibration process for IF filter stage.  This new
 architecture considerably reduces the size and power consumption and offers
 ease of implementation of a fully integrated receiver technology."  Dr.

 of a complete on-chip RF transceiver.  A significant portion of the receiver
