 equipment, today announced availability of an innovative testing and
 simulation platform.  PowerCommunications Development Environment
 (PowerCode(TM)) provides software developers and test engineers with a
 powerful platform for testing new communications software systems quickly,
 easily, and cost-effectively, dramatically reducing the time-to-market.
     Previously unavailable as a separate product to customers, PowerCode
 allows users of NetPlane's communications source code to develop prototype
 systems and perform network simulation on either a Windows NT or Linux host.
 PowerCode will significantly improve the efficiency of software integration,
 testing, and debugging processes using a powerful JavaScript engine.
 Increased productivity is enabled as software development and validation
 occurs before, or in parallel with, hardware development.  PowerCode also
 allows engineers to simulate networks in conjunction with developed hardware,
 enabling customized scenarios with the ability to configure, monitor and debug
 any of the nodes under the test.
