New Directors Named to Sun Bancorp, Inc. Board

     Robert J. McCormack, president and chief operating officer of Sun Bancorp,
 Inc., recently announced the appointments of Martha A. Barrick, George E.
 "Herm" Logue, Jr., and M. Mitchell "Mitch" Fetterolf to the Board of
 Directors.
     Martha A. Barrick, of Lewisburg, PA, is the owner of Coldwell Banker/Penn
 One Real Estate, Inc.  Mrs. Barrick has 25 years of experience as a real
 estate professional.  She is affiliated with numerous professional realtors'
 associations and is involved in various community and charitable organizations
 throughout Union County, including Evangelical Community Hospital, Union
 County Affordable Housing Advisory Board and the American Heart Association.
 She also serves on the Boards of the Union County Chamber of Commerce,
 Industrial Development Corporation, and Industrial Development Authority.  The
 Union County Chamber of Commerce named Mrs. Barrick 1997 Business Person of
 the Year.
     George E. "Herm" Logue, of Trout Run, PA, is vice president, North Central
 Region, of Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., a heavy construction company.  In 1984, as
 vice president and shareholder of George Logue, Inc., he returned the company
 to a focus on the heavy/highway construction industry.  In 1998, he negotiated
 the sale of George Logue, Inc. to Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College,
 PA.  Mr. Logue is a member of the Boards of Susquehanna Builders & Contractors
 and Pennsylvania Utility Contractors Association.  Mr. Logue was named
 Pennsylvania Utility Contractor of the Year in 2000.
     M. Mitchell "Mitch" Fetterolf is vice president of Fetterolf Group, Inc.
 of Somerset, PA.  He is a director of Mid-Continental Insurance Company of
 Somerset, PA and is managing partner of Woodbine Properties, a Pennsylvania
 general partnership.
