    PALO ALTO, Calif., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Responsys, Inc., a pioneer in
 optimized interactive marketing solutions, today announced strong first
 quarter momentum, with many new Global 2000 customers, an increased presence
 in Asia and the addition of two key executives to the company's executive
 team.  In addition, Responsys announced today that the company has received a
 $20 million mezzanine round of funding led by Sigma Partners.  Previous
 Responsys backers Foundation Capital, Accel Partners and Redpoint Ventures

     Responsys now has over 260 businesses on its client roster.  Clients added
 in the first quarter include Miller Brewing Company, GE Card Services,
 Playboy.com and The Finish Line, among others.  Founded April 1998, the end of
 the first quarter 2001 marks the start of the company's fourth year in
 operation.
