New KinderCare Under Construction in Frederick

Area Families Can Look Forward to New Childcare Option

    FREDERICK, Md., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Construction is underway on a new
 $2 million, 9,921 square foot KinderCare Learning Center, located at
 313 Ballenger Center Drive, Frederick.  Designed to accommodate 188 children,
 the Ballenger Creek KinderCare will be the 26th operating in the state of
 Maryland.  The center is expected to be open for children ages six weeks to
 12 years in September and children can be enrolled soon.  The Ballenger Creek
 KinderCare will be open Monday through Friday, offering extended hours.
     KinderCare offers the very latest in innovative learning programs for
 children in a contemporary classroom-style facility.  A "whole child
 development" philosophy, based on meeting the intellectual, social, emotional
 and physical needs of children, is the foundation of KinderCare's curriculum.
 The Ballenger Creek KinderCare will offer computer-integrated learning
 programs for preschool and school-age children.
     The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of
 the classroom, offering different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment
 to stimulate learning and development by providing a variety of play
 opportunities.  The architect for the Ballenger Creek KinderCare project is
 Architecture, Inc. and the general contractor for the build-out is
 Belisle Construction.
