New KinderCare Under Construction in Vancouver

    VANCOUVER, Wash., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Construction is underway on a
 new $1.9 million, 9,788 square foot KinderCare Learning Center, located at
 NE 117th and NE 76th Street, Vancouver.  Designed to accommodate 179 children,
 the Vancouver KinderCare will be the 61st operating in the state of
 Washington.  The center is expected to be open for children ages six weeks to
 12 years in early September and children can be enrolled soon.  The Vancouver
 KinderCare will be open Monday through Friday, offering extended hours.
     KinderCare offers the very latest in innovative learning programs for
 children in a contemporary classroom-style facility.  A "whole child
 development" philosophy, based on meeting the intellectual, social, emotional
 and physical needs of children, is the foundation of KinderCare's curriculum.
 The Vancouver KinderCare will offer computer-integrated learning programs for
 preschool and school-age children.
     The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of
 the classroom, offering different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment
 to stimulate learning and development by providing a variety of play
 opportunities.
     The architect for the Vancouver KinderCare project is CIDA Architects and
 the general contractor for the build-out is Munlake Contractors.
