SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Poll Everywhere reimagined the entire suite of reporting tools for paid plans, with instant, customizable charts, tables, and pivot reports. Data comes directly from polls conducted live in meetings, conferences, training sessions, and presentations.

With the new tools, poll responses can be analyzed for insight immediately, changing the workflow for instructors, presenters, and corporate trainers who wish to present their poll findings quickly to colleagues.

The release includes new report types, Executive Summary and Gradebook, along with upgraded versions of established report types like the Participant Response History.

Poll Everywhere CEO Jeff Vyduna said that the request for upgraded reporting tools came from their most prolific account owners, "We've got executive teams polling their entire workforce at town hall meetings, med schools running diagnosis polls in simulations, and higher ed conferences brainstorming solutions to huge problems. We wanted to make it easier for them to reflect on all that new data after the meeting ends, and get a big picture view of the trends in their responses."

The new reporting tools instantly visualize poll response data in a clean, easy-to-read format. The new Executive Summary, for example, displays a thumbnail image of each poll chart, along with a circle graph displaying engagement rates from poll to poll.

Product Manager Steve Farrelly said this makes the Executive Report a favorite for frequent presenters and corporate learning professionals, "It's a great way to start a post-mortem on a presentation and see where people were tuning out, or where people got intrigued and jumped in. Some of our HR clients like to use an Executive Summary report to see which trainers have better employee engagement during their training sessions, so they can reward them for it."

The Participant Response History visualizes participant locations on a US map, and displays a table view of responses person by person. Gradebook groups participants by class or section, and presents a color-coded table of correctness and participation for each poll. Survey Results offers an ordered view of survey responses for every participant.
