 (National Association of Broadcasters) Conference -- NewTek, manufacturer of
 industry-leading video and 3D animation products, today announced a public
 beta program for Video Toaster [2], which was officially launched today
 (please see separate news release for product details).  NewTek will preview
 Video Toaster [2] in its booth #S4837 at the NAB Conference, being held here
 through April 26.
     Available beginning June 29, 2001, NewTek's Beta Force program for Video
 Toaster [2] will enlist a limited number of qualified applicants to field-test
 Video Toaster [2] for approximately one month prior to public shipping.

     Conditions and Details of the Public Beta Program
     People interested in participating in the public beta program for Video
 Toaster [2] can sign up at NewTek's booth at NAB, by visiting the Web site at
 http://www.newtek.com or through authorized NewTek dealers.  The program
 applies only to the NTSC version of Video Toaster [2] and is open to U.S.
 residents only.
     Participants who do not already own Video Toaster NT 1.0 must purchase
 Video Toaster [2] for $4,995.  Those with an existing Video Toaster will need
 to purchase the SX-8 Live Switcher Module for $1,995, which includes the
 software upgrade to Video Toaster [2].  By entering the public beta program,
 participants agree to report installation, usage and results on the classified
 NewTek Beta Force Web site.  A limited number of people will be drafted for
 the one month program. Beta Force Applications will be evaluated in the order
 they were received.
     Participants retain full ownership of Video Toaster [2] and the SX-8 Live
 Switcher module, and will be shipped the final software with complete
 documentation upon conclusion of the Video Toaster Beta Force program.
