    INDIANAPOLIS, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Noble Roman's, Inc.
 (OTC Bulletin Board:   NROM), the Indianapolis-based Franchisor of pizza-focused
 foodservice operations, today announced earnings for the first quarter ended
 March 31, 2001.
     For the quarter ended March 31, 2001, Noble Roman's reported a net income
 of $208,679 or $.02 per share compared to a net income of $84,467 or $.01 per
 share for the quarter ended March 31, 2000.  Total revenues for the first
 three months of 2001 were approximately $1.5 million compared to revenues of
 approximately $1.2 million for the same three-month period in 2000.  Total
 system-wide foodservice sales were estimated at $10.5 million for the three-
 month period ended March 31, 2001.
     Noble Roman's also announced that it has now awarded more than 775
 franchises in 42 states and Puerto Rico since it began franchising its
 foodservice concept in 1997.  Noble Roman's foodservice operations are found
 in such venues as military bases, universities, convenience stores,
 entertainment facilities, vacation resorts, casinos, airports, travel plazas,
 hotels and as co-brands in other traditional restaurants.
