 year's nominees for its fourth annual WIRED Rave Awards, celebrating
 innovation and the individuals transforming commerce and culture.  These

     The "WIRED Renegade of the Year" will be chosen by the public online at
 http://www.raveawards.com.  The other 12 winners will be selected by WIRED
 editors.  In addition, the WIRED Community Award will be selected by WIRED
 editors and presented to a non-profit organization.  All the winners will be
 announced and celebrated in San Francisco on January 13th at a VIP party at
 Ian Schrager's hotel The Clift.  An after party will be held at Ruby Skye,
 with a performance by WILCO.
     The WIRED Rave Awards is presented by Epson, Nissan Z and Garmin.  The
 event sponsors include Yahoo! Launch, Pioneer, Memorex, Adobe Photoshop
 Elements, and Intel Pentium Processor 4.
