Norstar Communications, Inc. Appoints Vice President of Network Engineering

    IRVINE, Calif., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Norstar Communications Inc., an
 innovator in the telecommunications arena, today announced that Louis Di
 Gregorio has joined the Company's management team as Vice President of Network
 Engineering.
     Mr. Di Gregorio has established a career in network engineering with over
 twenty years of experience with various telecom and computer companies
 including Sprint and GE Capital.  For the last three years he has been the
 Vice President of Network Architecture for Universal Broadband Networks, a
 CLEC with a bundled service offering consisting of local and long distance
 telephone, wireless Internet, DSL and Dialup Internet in the US and Canada.
 As the Vice President Mr. Di Gregorio was responsible for the development of a
 carrier grade network to support and integrate Fiber Transport, ATM, IP,
 Voice, DSL, Wireless and Dialup networks.  From 1997 to 1999 he was a Network
 Engineer for Telegent a CLEC utilizing Point to Multipoint Microwave and ATM
 technology.  Mr. Di Gregorio was responsible for the project management of all
 Telecommunications projects within the company.  He joined Sprint in their PCS
 division in 1996 where he held the position of Interconnect Engineer.  He was
 involved in the project management for implementation of the Transmission
 networks as well as the development of Network and Emergency disaster
 planning.  Mr. Di Gregorio was the Project Manager for GE Capital Rescom in
 1995 where he was also responsible for the project management for the
 implementation of a new billing system.  From 1986 to 1995 he was the Senior
 Telecom Engineer for the County of Orange.  In addition from 1981 until 1986
 he was a Telecom Engineer for Atlantic Richfield Corporation, a nationwide
 network that provided voice and data services to their regional hubs across
 the US.
