NQL Takes Content Management Mainstream With New Version Of NQL ContentAnywhere for Microsoft Office

Accenture Announced as First Customer of NQL ContentAnywhere Office Edition

Apr 26, 2001, 01:00 ET from NQL Inc.

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- NQL Inc. (Nasdaq: NQLI) today
announced the release of its NQL ContentAnywhere(TM) Office Edition, designed
to expand Microsoft(R) Office. Accenture, the world's leading provider of
management and technology consulting services and solutions formerly known as
Andersen Consulting, was simultaneously announced as the first customer to
purchase the product. The new version of NQL's content management system is
priced at $15,000 and is scaled to bring content management to companies of
all sizes seeking to increase productivity for up to 100 users per license.
The NQL ContentAnywhere system is designed to address the problem of poor
content delivery, offering an alternative to the cut-and-paste methods
previously required to make content usable. NQL ContentAnywhere Office
Edition enables access to content through the Microsoft Office suite by
seamlessly linking it to corporate networks and the Internet. Without leaving
Microsoft Office, users can access information from databases, applications,
legacy systems, file servers, messages, and web sites.
The NQL ContentAnywhere Office Edition was created to empower the millions
of users who currently have Microsoft Office installed on their desktops by
bringing them content within the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint(R),
Outlook(R), Access and FrontPage(R) applications they use everyday. The new
version leverages the core content collection and delivery capabilities of the
previously announced NQL ContentAnywhere Enterprise system.
"This version of the NQL ContentAnywhere system is designed to bring
content management to organizations of all sizes which until now were denied
the benefit of a system like this because of prohibitive prices and
implementation costs," said NQL vice president of marketing Denny Michael.
"This product brings value to the millions of users who already use
Microsoft Office products on a daily basis," said Douglas J. Tullio, NQL
chairman, chief executive officer and president. "Our decision to create NQL
ContentAnywhere Office Edition was based on our market research which revealed
a need for robust content management for businesses of any size, priced within
reason and available within a familiar environment like Microsoft Office.
This is a strategic move to make the NQL ContentAnywhere system available to
one of the biggest user groups in existence."
Additional modules to expand the capabilities of the NQL ContentAnywhere
Office Edition will be available in the near future.

     About NQL ContentAnywhere
The NQL ContentAnywhere system scales to allow enterprises to customize
content collection, content naming, content aggregation, content refreshing
and multiple mechanisms of content delivery. The system is designed to allow
diverse data sources including legacy systems, databases, and web sites to be
unified as a single information source. Data from that source can then be
automatically delivered to destinations including documents, contact managers,
spreadsheets, presentation programs, mobile devices and others.
