NTI Announces The Digilyzer - Digital Audio Analysis With Minstruments

Apr 17, 2001, 01:00 ET from NTI

    SCHAAN, Lichtenstein, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- NTI's(TM) brand new
Digilyzer(TM) provides a comprehensive set of analysis functions for digital
audio signals and video related audio signals with sample rates up to 96 kHz.
The youngest member of the Minstruments(TM) family features balanced AES3
inputs, unbalanced SPDIF signals and optical TOS links. The Digilyzer will be
unveiled at the 110th AES Convention in Amsterdam (May 12-15, 2001).
NTI's Digilyzer is equipped with a broad range of functionalities for
digital audio field testing, comprising audio signal analysis, ancillary data
interpretation, carrier signal analysis as well as for the analysis of video
related audio problems. It is a handheld one-hand-operation battery powered
device the size of the successful analog analyzer Minilyzer(TM).
"As proven with the already well established members of the Minstruments
family -- Minilyzer and Minirator TM -- NTI is able to meet the customers main
expectations regarding excellent functionality and cost effectiveness",
Philipp Schwizer, CEO of NTI says.
The Digilyzer handles AES3 signals through the balanced 110 Ohms input,
unbalanced SPDIF signals via the 75 Ohms Cinch connector as well as optical
connections with TOS links. Through the latter ADAT signals frequently
available in multitrack devices may be analyzed directly. With a readily
available TDIF interface Digilyzer also analyses TASCAM multitrack recorder
signals. All commonly standardized sampling frequencies up to 96 kHz are
handled in consumer and professional formats.
At the AES Convention in Amsterdam (May 12-15, 2001) NTI will for the
first time show its revolutionary Digilyzer to the public.
At the AES Convention NTI will also show its recently unveiled Measurement
microphone extension MiniSPL which complements the Minilyzer with acoustical
analysis required to prove performance of sound reinforcement systems.
