Nx Networks Provides Guidance for Fiscal Year 2001 Growth Expected Through Rest of Year

Apr 16, 2001, 01:00 ET from Nx Networks

HERNDON, Va., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Nx Networks (Nasdaq: NXWX), a
leading provider of voice and IP convergence solutions, said today its
revenues for the first quarter of 2001 will be consistent with the fourth
quarter of 2000, but it anticipates significant growth through the rest this
 year.
"During the first quarter we refocused sales and marketing and
restructured the company," said John DuBois, Nx Networks Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer. "This was vital for our future health and success, but it
has resulted in a flat first quarter."
"With the addition of some key players in our sales organization we now
have greater visibility into our business, allowing us to give better guidance
than ever before," continued Dubois, "I feel it is the right time to provide
some insight into our vision for 2001. We are already starting to see an
improvement in sales this month and anticipate that second quarter revenues
will be in the order of $6.5 million. I expect this growth to continue with
the company having revenues for 2001 in the area of $32 - $35 million. This
will allow us to reach cash flow positive by the end of this year."
