CINCINNATI, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The OKI Tri-State Chapter of the
National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) is holding its eleventh
annual Investors Fair(R) on Saturday, April 21 in Sharonville, Ohio, near
Cincinnati. The theme, "Wall Street on Sale!" focuses on NAIC's fundamental
approach to investing -- invest in growth companies at reasonable stock
prices, and long-term investing will ultimately pay off. The Fair includes
guest speakers from several national companies, as well as a featured guest
speaker, and numerous educational opportunities for investors.
According to Mary Lyn Fledderman, OKI Tri-State Chapter President,
"Focusing on company fundamentals helps investors avoid panic. Informed
investors can continue to build a solid portfolio, even in a Bear market."
Education is the center of the fair, according to Fledderman. "We focus on
informing individual investors, by allowing them an opportunity to meet with
exhibiting companies, pick up investment information, and ask questions."
Five public corporations are sponsoring this year's fair. General
Electric, Libbey Inc., Myers Industries, Inc. RPM, Inc., and Wendy's
International, Inc. will present their companies' investment stories.
Hundreds of attendees include individual investors and investment club
members. A number of exhibitors will have executives on hand to answer
investors' questions. There will be NAIC computer software demonstrations,
including the comprehensive Club Accounting software for investment clubs and
the NAIC Classic software, a complete step-by-step study that guides beginners
through investment analysis. Additionally, there will be annual reports from
more than forty other public companies for distribution and free copies of
 many investment publications.
The featured speaker is George Dagnino, chair of Peter Dag Strategic Money
Management. He is frequently quoted on CNBC, CNNfn, Barron's and other
national newspapers. In his presentation, "Profiting in Bear or Bull
Markets," he will explain how he studies and follows the cause-and-effect
patterns between economic and financial variables, and describe the four main
 phases of the business cycle.
The Investors Fair(R) starts at 8 AM and paid registration includes a
luncheon with corporate executives and OKI Directors. The day will close at
3:45 PM with a grand door prize of $250 of stock of the winner's choice. The
