NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Legends today announced the launch of OneWorldObservatory.com, the official url of the One World Observatory at One World Trade Center, opening in 2015. A precursor to its full digital experience, the initial page allows people to sign up to receive advance information on group sales, special events, press and other information related to One World Observatory. The full website will launch in phases through early 2015, and will include online ticketing, visitor information, interactive experiences, social media links and more. Additional details will be shared as phases are completed.

One World Observatory will offer unparalleled 360-degree views of New York City and the surrounding region from the top of One World Trade Center. The observatory is projected to draw an estimated 3.5 million visitors annually to the top of the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere.
One World Observatory will occupy floors 100-102, approximately 1,250 feet above street level, at One World Trade Center. The 120,000 square foot attraction will feature dining options, a gift shop, a premier special events space, interactive exhibits, and the "See Forever" theater where visitors will experience a movie celebrating New York.
To visit the observatory, guests will first enter into a cutting-edge, multimedia gallery showcasing the magnificent evolution and construction of this engineering marvel. The uplifting journey will continue when guests ride the fastest elevator in the world to the observatory - ascending 102 floors in 60 seconds - surrounded by a stunning visual evolution of the World Trade Center site and New York City itself.

In March 2013, the Port Authority of NY & NJ, owner of One WTC, selected Legends to develop and operate One World Observatory at One World Trade Center.
