    PARIS, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The new support plan offered by the Open
 CASCADE company helps users reduce development time with the Open CASCADE
 open-source 3D modeling components and speed return on investment by adapting
 to evolving needs as their development program progresses. By evaluating
 existing and future development resources, users can determine which of the
 three a la carte programs best fits their requirements. The Advantage program
 is geared to individuals or small development teams, the Premium program
 covers the needs of up to 10 developers, and the Excellence program brings
 assistance to larger teams.
     Users select the services that correspond to specific needs at any phase
 of their project, complement their development resources and enhance
 productivity. The individual modules are adjusted to obtain the quota of units
 corresponding to either the Advantage, Premium or Excellence program level.
 If, for example, development activity requires extra manpower for a
 development team that is reasonably skilled with the Open CASCADE components,
 the a la carte order will include a greater number of development manpower
 modules and less of training.
     Within each program users can select a combination of the following
 individual service modules:
 
     * helpdesk (access by phone or email, return call or e-mail contact within
        4 working hours, query processing within 3 business days)
     * e-learning and training (online or on-site courses on the basic and
        advanced aspects of Open CASCADE)
     * technical support (help with modeling data and algorithms, the
        visualization function, the Workshop Organization Toolkit, viewers and
        graphic interfaces, the Open CASCADE Application Framework, and porting
        of applications)
     * expert consulting (advice on software architecture and data model,
        advanced modeling, graphics, advanced data exchange, C++ and JAVA, and
        CAD-to-FEA integration)
     * development manpower (extra hands for application building within the
        Open CASCADE Application Framework, development of application geometry
        and the visualization engine, GUI design and implementation, connection
        of applications via data exchange functions, integration of the CAD
        model with simulation software, quality testing, industrialization,
        application deployment and porting to various hardware platforms)
     * dedicated project manager (thorough understanding of the development
        project, outstanding competence with today's leading development tools,
