BOSTON, June 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- OpFocus, a Salesforce Gold Consulting Partner is launching Lightning-based Salesforce courses in Fall 2016.
In their 10-year history, OpFocus has built a curriculum of hands-on training material for system administrators and end-users to educate them on Salesforce features and their management. Class options include a 5-day Salesforce Platform Configuration and Administration Essentials Course, a 2-day Hands-on Reporting Workshop, and custom training sessions based on client need.
As the Salesforce ecosystem has evolved, so have the training materials. David Carnes, CEO and Founder of OpFocus, notes, "Some customers have already made the switch to the Lightning User Interface, while the rest will begin transitioning in the coming year. Lightning is a primary focus of Salesforce's development efforts, and as we've seen in the past, many new features will only be available on the new interface. For this reason the administration and development of the Lightning interface will be the focus of our future training courses." The courses include a module on how to transition from Salesforce Classic to Lightning.
Carnes has trained over 1000 people on Salesforce administration and reporting across the United States and Canada.
Along with a cleaner, more modern user interface, Lightning brings many positive changes to how administrators manage their systems. Developers will also benefit from the range of new options available with Lightning Components. According to MJ Kahn, VP of Development and Product Strategy, "Lightning Components give us much more flexibility in the layout, design and functionality." She continued, "Particularly in the Reporting modules, we are excited to train course participants on how to take advantage of the more colorful, dynamic, Wave-like experience of using Lightning."
OpFocus' new training curriculum will launch on October 17th-21st with the 5-day Salesforce Platform Configuration and Administration Essentials Course, followed by the 2-day Hands-on Reporting Workshop on October 26th-27th. For more details visit http://opfocus.com/solutions/training.
