Optims and Lufthansa Systems North America Form Strategic Alliance

    EAST MEADOW, N.Y. and EVRY, France, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Optims S.A.
 (Evry, France), the European leader in Revenue Management solutions dedicated
 to the hospitality, tourism and transport industries, has entered into a
 strategic partnership agreement with Lufthansa Systems North America, Inc.
 (East Meadow, New York), a total Information Technology (IT) solutions
 provider serving the air transportation, travel and broader corporate markets.
     Based on the agreement, Lufthansa Systems North America will market
 Optims' Optims.Hotel, a solution designed for independent hotels and
 City.Optims for hotel chains and groups to North America.  The alliance
 represents Optims' official launch in the United States and Canada.
 Additionally, these two IT solution leaders will join forces to develop other
 value-added offerings for the hospitality industry.
     According to Optims CEO Antoine Medawar, "The American market is a
 strategic one for Optims, with its range of quality independent establishments
 and hotel chains.  We are excited to team up with Lufthansa Systems North
 America in meeting the critical Revenue Management needs of this region.  We
 are expecting a successful and profitable union."
     Lufthansa Systems North America's CEO John Meier-Funke is equally
 optimistic.  He states, "We have long aligned with organizations whose product

     Last October, Optims signed a distribution contract with Lufthansa Systems
 Berlin (Germany) to market its Yield Management solutions within the German
 speaking regions of Europe.  This development was followed by Lufthansa
 Systems Berlin's formation of a Hospitality Department dedicated to
 distributing Optims solutions.  This strategic alliance between Optims and
 Lufthansa Systems North America, part of the Lufthansa Systems Group, is
