Option Care Acquires Independent Infusion Pharmacy in Tampa/St. Petersburg

    BANNOCKBURN, Ill., April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Option Care, Inc.
 (Nasdaq:   OPTN), announced today that it acquired the infusion therapy business
 of Park Infusion Services, L.P.'s Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida location.
 Further details of the agreement were not disclosed.
     Raj Rai, Option Care's president and chief operating officer commented,
 "The acquisition of this location, our fourth in 2001, expands our outreach in
 the growing Tampa/St. Petersburg marketplace with additional managed care
 covered lives. We will be combining our existing operations in Tampa with the
 acquired pharmacy; we anticipate enhanced operational efficiencies and cost
 savings.  The new facility is equipped with an ambulatory infusion suite and
 will also serve as a distribution hub for our specialty pharmacy operations in
 Florida".
