Apr 23, 2001, 01:00 ET from Orca Interactive LTD

LAS VEGAS, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Orca
Interactive LTD, a wholly owned subsidiary of Emblaze Systems Ltd. (formerly
known as "GEO Interactive") and nCUBE, today announced an agreement that will
provide network service providers worldwide with a hardware and software
platform that will enable multi-channel streaming media solutions over any
 network or device.
The result of the agreement will be a pre-integrated system featuring the
best-in-class components from nCUBE and Orca including nCUBE's n4 streaming
media appliance, its nABLE application and Orca's RiGHTv(TM) Core, XVOD(TM)
extended video-on-demand application and XBIP, Broadcast-over-IP software
 technology.
The combination of nCUBE's n4 server, which can scale from 100 megabits
per second to 128 gigabits per second of streaming media from a single system,
and Orca's multi-channel streaming solution software, will create a platform
that supports delivery of content through multiple network architectures to
multiple media channels including TVs, PCs and mobile devices including
wireless phones and PDAs. The operator enters content only once into the
management system. Once the content is loaded, it can be seen over any network
from any type of device without modification.
"Orca's software helps to extend VOD technology to create value-added
movies-on-demand and scheduled broadcast services, providing new revenue
opportunities," said Mike Pohl, president, nCUBE. "By joining forces with
Orca, we can provide a platform that enables operators to imagine, create and
 define new iTV services."
"We are pleased that Orca's iTV applications will be incorporated with
nCUBE's n4 and nABLE application. This pre-integration of hardware and
software will provide service providers a vehicle from which they meet the
increasing demands for streaming media," said Haggai Barel, president, Orca
Interactive. "Working with nCUBE allows us to offer the most robust solution
to network providers and deliver a truly interactive television experience for
 the consumer."
