RARITAN, N.J., Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) today announced that Kristie Bouryal has been named Chief Corporate Brand and Communications Officer, effective immediately. As the newest member of the firm's executive leadership team, Bouryal will lead the company's worldwide corporate brand and communication strategies as the organization builds on its transition to an independent company by adding sites in countries outside the U.S. She will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Martin Madaus.
Since becoming a standalone company last year, the firm has experienced rapid growth and has cultivated an entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture focused on its core businesses. Bouryal is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record of success in executive roles spanning global corporate communications, marketing and all forms of media. Most recently, she was Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management. Across Marsh's global footprint, Bouryal led all aspects of marketing, communications, and thought leadership content development. She created and implemented strategies to transform the firm's marketing and communication functions to grow reputation and revenue. Prior to Marsh, Bouryal held many progressive leadership roles with Nielsen, The Associated Press and ABC News. Bouryal holds a B.S. degree from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.
