Palo Alto Networks' Julie Starr to Present 'What's on Your Network? Technology Options for Application Visibility and Control'

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Palo Alto Networks(TM), the leader in next-generation firewalls, today announced that it has been selected to present at the Computer Forensics Show 2009, taking place Oct. 5 - 6 in Santa Clara, Calif.

Ms. Starr is a CISSP and has been involved in the IT/Security industry for more than 15 years. In her role at Palo Alto Networks, she works closely with end users to support their adoption of next-generation firewall solutions. Previously, she worked for companies including Sun Microsystems, Check Point Software, and Blue Coat Systems, in addition to universities such as the Georgia Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University. She was a faculty member at NCSU, where she designed and taught the first introductory Computer Security course for undergraduates there. Ms. Starr has earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
