Paravant Inc. Receives FBCB2 Contract From TRW; 2001 Procurement Adds $14.3 Million

    MORRISTOWN, N.J., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Paravant Inc. (Nasdaq:   PVAT)
 said today that its Paravant Computer Systems (PCS) division has received a
 $14.3 Million follow-on contract to deliver more than 1,000 Applique+ V4
 computer systems to TRW Systems & Information Technology Group, the prime
 contractor for the U.S. Army Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below
 (FBCB2) program.
     The company said that deliveries for the follow-on portion of the contract
 are scheduled to begin in June 2001 and run through the first quarter of
 fiscal year 2002. This year's award was significantly higher than last year's
 due to our excellent quality and our ability to deliver in a timely fashion.
