    NEW YORK, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Pfizer Inc
 today declared an 11-cent second-quarter, 2001, dividend  on the company's
 common stock, payable June 7, 2001,  to shareholders of record on May, 18,
 2001.  This will be the 250th consecutive quarterly dividend paid by Pfizer.
     Pfizer dividend payments in 2000 totaled 36 cents a share, consisting of
 four quarterly payments of 9 cents each.  The second-quarter 2001 cash
 dividend represents a 22-percent increase over the 2000 second-quarter
 dividend.
