Pihana Pacific Announces Neutral Internet Exchange Data Center Agreement With Level 3 for LA Facility

    HONOLULU, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Pihana Pacific, the first company to
 provide neutral Internet exchange (IX) data center services in Asia/Pacific,
 today announced an agreement with Level 3 Communications, Inc., a global
 broadband infrastructure company.  Under terms of the agreement, Level 3 will
 provide Internet and communication network services to communications-
 intensive companies in Pihana's new Internet exchange data center in Los
 Angeles.  Pihana has raised $236 million since being founded in 2000,
 including $190 million in one of the largest private equity investments in
 Asia/Pacific history with Goldman Sachs as its lead investor.
