 announced the dates for their first headlining tour of North America, titled
 "Odyssey Number Five Tour."  The tour, in support of their Republic/Universal
 release Odyssey Number Five, will stop in 22 cities beginning on May 23 in
 Toronto.
     Powderfinger's popularity is overwhelming in their homeland. Their last
 three albums have gone multi-platinum.  They are currently Rolling Stone
 Australia's Band of the Year, as well as Odyssey Number Five being named Album
