"With demand for high-end distribution facilities in Charlotte continuing
to grow and more companies looking for sites adjacent to the region's major
transportation routes, ProLogis Park I-485 has fast become one of Charlotte's
premier locations," said Tim Bahr, ProLogis Vice President and Market Officer.
"The size and location of this facility will enable its occupants to enhance
their supply chain operations and establish a strong foothold in a key
 distribution market."
The building being developed is located at one of the few remaining
industrial development sites along the southwestern section of I-485. The
facility will feature 24' clearance heights, an ESFR sprinkler system, a
generous truck court, interstate visibility and immediate access to the area's
highway network. Major roadways accessible to the facility are I-485, I-77,
Westinghouse Boulevard and South Tryon Street.
ProLogis Park I-485 is also located near the existing ProLogis Park
Commerce Business Center, which features occupants such as International
Paper, Royal & Sunalliance, Spencer Gifts, Marconi Medical Systems and
 Continental Tire.
