Protect Your Valuable Data - Security Against All Odds

Apr 18, 2001, 01:00 ET from Everything Backup

CORONA, Calif., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- David Roekle announces the launch
of Everything Backup located online at http://www.everythingbackup.com .
Everything Backup offers online remote back up of Important information
should a catastrophe occur with a business computer. Remote back up offers
special advantages not available with zip drives and other on site security
measures. Remote access leaves nothing to chance. If a fire, flood, or
other natural disaster, computer melt down, etc. should occur remote access
storage insures that the business will continue and all important data will
 be secure.
All data stored at Everything Backup goes through a DES (including
Triple-DES and Blowfish, which are both more recent forms of encryption)
government standard, encryption process before being uploaded. This means
that even the engineers on staff are unable to read or decrypt any of the
 valuable information being stored.
The compression used for backup is called FastBIT, which is the most
effective incremental backup technology available today. It uses a complex
algorithm to precisely identify the changes that have been made to any type
of file since the last backup. These changes are transmitted to the data
center, requiring minimal bandwidth. Once the server receives these changes,
it can combine them with the previous backup to form an identical copy of
 the current file.
FastBIT will also provide the most cost-effective method of storing
ongoing file histories for every user. FastBIT backups can be 15 times
 smaller than the nearest competitor.
That means Everything Backup will only need 10 Gigabytes for user data
that would need up to 150 Gigabytes of storage using competitive software for
the same amount of user data.
